Trois ans après son premier solo Today is a Beautiful Day, Youness Aboulakoul crée Mille Miles avec cinq artistes au plateau. Dans cette pièce où la scénographie résonne avec les corps, les frontières s’imaginent, se font et se défont. Dans un rapport direct à l’espace, les danseurs évoluent au rythme d’un mélange entre musique traditionnelle marocaine et musique électronique, et tentent d’éclater les espaces contraints en naviguant autour d’une ligne de démarcation. Un monde sans frontières se dessine, se réinvente. Est-il seulement concevable ? Qu’en est-il des relations entre les peuples ? Les frontières, au fond, ne nous rassurent-elles pas ? Les corps s’alignent et s’entrelacent, imaginent de nouveaux sillons autant que de nouvelles passerelles. Construction collective, la danse très physique de Youness Aboulakoul surprend par les interrogations qu’elle suscite. C’est terriblement actuel…
