Les précédentes pièces des frères Ben Aïm mettaient l’être humain au cœur de la réflexion chorégraphique, à travers un groupe d’hommes comme dans Brûlent nos cœurs insoumis, ou par des solos et des présences fortes, comme dans Peuplé, dépeuplé ou le projet des Instantanés. Aujourd’hui, cette nouvelle création aborde aussi la question de la nature. C’est dans un environnement d’images, de lumières et de sons que les chorégraphes plantent le décor de leur pièce. Au cœur du Grand Nord, l’igloo devient même un des personnages principaux, refuge de deux danseurs qui vivent au rythme de la nature et des éléments.
Paysages lointains, questionnements de proximité
Déjà avec La Forêt ébouriffée, les chorégraphes avaient littéralement transporté le jeune public dans un univers en transformation, faisant de la dimension visuelle une partenaire pour la danse. Leur Mirages, visibles dès 5 ans, poussent plus avant l’exploration. Comment raconter les étendues glaciales, l’immensité de l’Arctique, et la place de l’homme dans cette beauté ? Sous la forme d’une fable philosophique, où la fonte inéluctable de l’igloo devient un enjeu qui dépasse toute vision fantasmée, fantastique ou onirique, le spectacle déploie son propos autour de la question de l’empreinte de l’homme sur la nature.
