Théâtre Louis Aragon / Chor. Herman Diephuis
Pur descendant de la nouvelle danse française bien que néerlandais, Herman Diephuis fut l’interprète de Régine Chopinot, Mathilde Monnier ou Philippe Decouflé, avant de fonder sa compagnie en 2004. Auteur d’une quinzaine de pièces, il aime à puiser dans notre patrimoine culturel, qu’il soit savant ou populaire, pour mieux interroger notre imaginaire collectif et les stéréotypes qu’il véhicule. Travaillant avec des artistes d’univers très différents, ou même des amateurs, il crée des spectacles élégants et sensibles. Avec Mix, son nouvel opus présenté au Théâtre Louis Aragon, il prend cette fois à bras le corps le problème du racisme, des réflexes identitaires. Pour ce faire, il réunit trois interprètes métisses aux parcours divers. Dalila Khatir, la chanteuse de formation lyrique, Marvin Clech, le jeune danseur issu du judo et du hip hop, et Betty Tchomanga, la chorégraphe contemporaine, sont invités à jouer de la dérision, de la surenchère, pour tordre avec impertinence clichés et préjugés. Un spectacle aux accents burlesques qui puise son inspiration dans les revues et comédies musicales.
