Mon ami paranoïaque décrit la progression du délire de persécution qui gagne Antoni, dont l’esprit est gangrené par les trop angoissants conseils de prudence de son meilleur ami. Cauchemar ou réalité ? Réalisme ou onirisme ? On ne sait… Peut-être que la scène est celle de l’âme malade d’Antoni, peut-être que la jeune fille silencieuse, installée à cour comme un oiseau dans une cage, est l’image des étais affectueux qui peut à peu se délitent, toujours est-il qu’Antoni est cruellement seul dans cette spirale qui le conduit de la peur à la haine et de la haine au meurtre. Nikson Pitaqaj dit de Nino Noskin qu’il « effraye autant qu’il suscite l’admiration ». « Sa plume est pleine d’un humour acide qui cache une certaine perversité » : la pièce joue de cet effrayant équilibre, et force à ce point la noirceur qu’elle paraît appeler de toutes ses forces l’amour, la confiance et la douceur qui manquent au pauvre Antoni.
