Alors que son mode d’action tendait à aller voir du côté des arts plastiques ou de la performance, il semble que Christian Rizzo cherche, avec cette création, une nouvelle façon d’engager les écritures scéniques dans un même processus. Pour Mon amour, il convoque sur le plateau sept danseurs dans d’amples boucles de mouvements, un chanteur (et pas des moindres, puisqu’il s’agit du chorégraphe Mark Tompkins), le contrebassiste Bruno Chevillon, le compositeur electro Gerome Nox, et le batteur Didier Ambact. Sans oublier la scénographie signée par le chorégraphe lui-même, composée de sept sphères aux mouvements autonomes, libres de leur chemin au sein du plateau. Comment ces différents langages, au travers des formes choisies par le chorégraphe, cohabiteront-elles sur la scène ? Christian Rizzo tranche la question : il s’agit avant tout d’expérimenter chaque proposition dans sa capacité à se porter elle-même de façon autonome, à vivre et mener son chemin distinctement. La confrontation plus tardive avec les autres écritures fera de Mon amour une pièce transdisciplinaire… à sa façon.
