Théâtre des Gémeaux / textes de Céline Brunelle et Isaiah / mes Céline Brunelle
Au cœur de ce projet, il y a Cécile Brunelle. Autrice, metteuse en scène et interprète de Mon Livre de la jungle, qui a œuvré depuis 2014 à aider les migrants arrivant en France, et tout d’abord du côté de Calais et de sa fameuse « jungle ». Il s’agissait alors d’organiser les conditions d’une survie un tant soit peu digne, mais aussi d’assurer un accompagnement et les premiers pas en français… Une expérience riche en histoires et en émotions que Cécile Brunelle tente de transmettre, de partager, de transformer en matériau artistique, entremêlant pour cela les images recueillies tout du long de ces années et celles qu’elle crée au plateau.
Une écriture de plateau
Elle alterne entre récit direct, qui relate son expérience via un langage parlé, immédiat, et les histoires des migrants qu’elle a rencontrés, revisitées par l’écriture entre rap et slam d’Isaiah, jeune auteur d’origine égyptienne. Mon Livre de la jungle développe donc « une écriture de plateau reposant sur l’entremêlement des mots, de la musique et de l’image ». Accompagnée en direct par la musique électro de Glaze Furtivo, portant son récit empli de ceux des autres, Cécile Brunelle s’y fait porte-parole de tous ceux qui s’engagent pour que notre société ne tourne pas le dos aux idéaux supposés la fonder.
