L'Onde Théâtre / de Valéry Warnotte et Arne Sierens / mes Valéry Warnotte
Bien qu’ayant choisi de suivre un parcours d’homme de théâtre et de cinéma, Arne Sierens confie avoir toujours eu des rêves d’art lyrique. « J’ai proposé plein de projets à tous les directeurs des maisons d’opéra, déclare-t-il, mais ils trouvaient mes idées trop lointaines de leur médium. » Aujourd’hui, ce n’est toujours pas une œuvre lyrique que l’artiste belge présente en complicité avec le metteur en scène Valéry Warnotte, mais une conférence-spectacle autobiographique qui revient sur divers aspects d’une existence vécue comme une œuvre d’opéra. Ici, pas de décor, pas de chanteur, pas de chœur ou bien d’orchestre. C’est en seule compagnie du guitariste Jean-Yves Evrard qu’Arne Sierens interprète ce monologue tragi-comique. Un monologue qui souhaite s’adresser à la fantaisie et à l’imaginaire du public. En parlant de l’indicible, en montrant « les invisibles », ces « mythes qui nous entourent et font notre histoire ».
