« Pouchkine fut mon premier poète, et mon premier poète, on l’a assassiné. », ainsi parle Marina Tsvetaïeva, fulgurante poétesse dont le talent éclatant n’eut d’égal en intensité qu’une existence marquée au sceau des tragédies de son pays et de son siècle. Dans cette ode à son aîné en littérature, elle fait revivre la Russie de son enfance, ses promenades jusqu’à la statue du grand homme, la découverte bouleversante d’Eugène Onéguine à six ans, l’ivresse ressentie à la lecture de ses premiers poèmes et le désir d’écrire qui naquit de sa rencontre avec celui qui l’initia au « vers, le seul espace qu’en nous jamais ne fermera l’adieu ». Guy Freixe met en scène Antonia Bosco dans cet « hommage à la poésie, à ses pouvoirs, ses brûlures, ses quêtes secrètes » dont la comédienne se fait la passeuse avec la passion qui l’anime toujours. Pour accompagner cette promenade proustienne, Damien Lehman interprète au piano les musiques de Tchaïkovski, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff et Chostakovitch, sollicitant et soutenant tour à tour les réminiscences d’un chant qu’Antonia Bosco fait sien.
