La Fabrik’ Théâtre / de Molière / adaptation et mes Sébastien Lagord
Dans cette implacable comédie-ballet écrite en 1669, l’année du triomphe de Tartuffe enfin autorisé, le rire se déclenche aux dépens de Pourceaugnac, avocat limousin venu à Paris épouser Julie, selon les vœux du père de la demoiselle, Oronte. Cependant, Julie aime Eraste, et les deux amoureux, afin de renvoyer le prétendant à Limoges, sont aidés par deux intrigants d’expérience, Nérine et Sbrigani, aussi fourbes que sans scrupules. Sébastien Lagord oppose les figures austères du pouvoir et de l’argent – dont Monsieur de Pourceaugnac en costume colonial – aux jeunes gens épris de liberté, d’amour et de modernité. Sur une musique sans frontières du blues au tango et du gospel au jazz vocal, il met en scène une comédie farcesque enjouée et métissée. Les comédiens issus de cultures africaines et européennes jouent de leurs différences avec énergie et optimisme et célèbrent la liberté.
