Point de vérité qui ne puisse être contredite, point d’autre certitude que la mort, rien d’établi dans cette « branloire pérenne » qu’est le monde : adapter la pensée fluide et sautillante de Montaigne, mettre en scène ce vif-argent de la philosophie rétif au dogmatisme et tâcher de saisir des instants dans ce fleuve ininterrompu qu’est son œuvre : telle est la gageure que relève avec brio Thierry Roisin. La scénographie de Jean-Pierre Larroche fait s’animer un long tapis sur lequel passent maints objets et qu’arpente le comédien Yannick Choirat. Leurs rencontres sont autant d’occasions de dire des textes éclatants de limpidité, brillants de pertinence et d’humour, profondément émouvants souvent, acides parfois, éblouissants d’intelligence toujours. La liberté dont fait preuve le comédien, bondissant au milieu d’un apparent désordre sans jamais perdre l’équilibre, comme un athlète aguerri au difficile métier d’exister, est parfaitement à l’image de celle de son personnage et de la pensée auquel ce spectacle rend hommage avec une perspicacité, une pénétration et une fidélité aussi rares que jouissives.
