La musique baroque reste plus que jamais maîtresse des lieux à travers la belle programmation imaginée par Hugo Reyne. On ne présente plus le fondateur (il y a tout juste vingt ans) de La Simphonie du Marais, ensemble d’excellence qui s’est fixé comme objectif la redécouverte du patrimoine musical des 17e et 18e siècles, avec une prédilection pour la musique française de Lully à Rameau. L’ensemble réunit des musiciens parmi les plus éminents de la jeune génération baroque. La « Simphonie » est logiquement à l’affiche du festival de la Chabotterie où elle est installée en résidence depuis 2004. Hugo Reyne dirige, en concert d’ouverture, Ulysse, tragédie en musique de Rebel (le 11), avant d’aborder Rameau à travers un programme de Pièces en concerts (le 15). La programmation accueille d’autres grandes voix du mouvement baroque à l’image de Christophe Rousset, Sigiswald Kuijken, ou Olivier Baumont, et des formations telles que Doulce Mémoire ou La Petite Bande. Notons que chaque concert est précédé, à 18h15, des « Confidences baroques », moments de rencontres privilégiées avec les artistes en concert le soir même.
