Sous le titre « Fantasia quasi sonata », la pianiste franco-lituanienne Mûza Rubackyté propose un florilège de pièces aux formes mêlées, entre aphorismes et longs développements. Cette interprète remarquée de Liszt – son enregistrement des Années de pèlerinage chez Lyrinx vaut que l’on s’y arrête – place évidemment en conclusion de son récital la Fantasia quasi sonata « Après une lecture de Dante », œuvre foisonnante, étonnante où la structure formelle se laisse oublier sous les flots de l’inspiration romantique puis resurgit. En regard, elle place la Sonata quasi una fantasia op. 27 n° 2 dite « Clair de lune » de Beethoven ou la Deuxième Sonate « funèbre » de Chopin. Entre virtuosité romantique et formes classiques sans cesse réinventées, de la Fantaisie K. 457 de Mozart à la Cinquième Sonate en un mouvement de Scriabine, le récital de Mûza Rubackyté s’apparente à un voyage dans l’imaginaire créatif des compositeurs.
