Théâtre de la Bastille / d’après un film de Louis Malle / TG Stan et de Koe
Fidèle du Théâtre de la Bastille, TG Stan est un collectif anversois né en 1989, qui revisite souvent des œuvres connues, pour en faire le support d’expériences où le jeu se tient au bord de l’improvisation, sur le fil d’une perpétuelle réinvention. Moins célèbre en France, la compagnie de Koe est née la même année et souhaite « en finir avec le maniérisme, le faux sérieux, débarrasser le théâtre de son pseudo intellectualisme (…) détruire mais aussi créer ». Rien de plus normal donc que ces deux compagnies se soient rencontrées pour un spectacle qui a déjà beaucoup tourné en Europe.
Plats préparés
Supports de ce spectacle : le scénario du film éponyme de Louis Malle et une discussion entre Wallace Shawn (Damiaan De Schrijver), auteur dramatique à la situation précaire, et André Gregory (Peter Van den Eede), metteur en scène fortuné. Le romantique incorrigible et le pragmatique ambitieux nourrissent leur conversation de leurs divergences flagrantes quant à leur rapport à la vie et au théâtre, mais s’alimentent aussi des plats préparés en direct par un cuisinier chaque soir différent. Le public est pris à parti, convié à table, la polémique à couteaux tirés n’hésite pas à mettre les pieds dans le plat et se pimente de l’entre-deux entre fiction et réalité. Un menu bien appétissant.
