Après la saga tripartite des Gens d’ici, Mazzuchini s’embarque dans une succession rapide d’histoires intriquées qui empruntent le raccourci du mensonge pour qu’éclatent (de rire) des vérités. Satirique forcément, puisqu’il s’agit d’être lucide et de parler des acteurs « d’un monde qui broie quotidiennement de l’humain » – politiques, médecins, intellectuels, théâtreux… – Mythomane prolonge également ce désir de proximité qui structure depuis longtemps le parcours théâtral de Mazzuchini. Pensé comme un hommage aux gens de l’ombre qui alimentent le lien social par leurs engagements bénévoles et militants, le spectacle reprend le concept de la tchatchade qui conduit à faire grimper sur scène une rencontre de la veille. Gouaille tchatcheuse, humanité, et verbe spirituel mais tranchant au programme.
