Fondée par le metteur en scène François Chevallier, le comédien Christophe Gravouil et la scénographe Anne Pitard, la compagnie Addition Théâtre parcourt, depuis 1999, les sentiers des écritures contemporaines, avec pour ambition de « donner à entendre le texte sans jamais omettre la relation au public, l’implication sensible et intelligente du spectateur ». Après des œuvres de Daniel Keene, Michel Marc Bouchard, Natacha de Pontcharra…, ces artistes poursuivent leur exploration de l’existence humaine avec Nature morte dans un fossé de Fausto Paravidino, une pièce éclairant la perte de repères politiques, spirituels et sociaux de la jeunesse de notre époque. Entre enquête policière, roman noir et satire sociale, cette suite de monologues traversée par un humour corrosif donne à voir et à entendre deux univers : celui de la nuit, des bars malfamés, des rapports pulsionnels et primitifs ; celui du jour, du commissariat, des comptes à rendre dans un monde civilisé. Deux univers qui — par le biais des témoignages de l’entourage plus ou moins proche d’une jeune fille retrouvée morte dans un fossé — dévoilent les aspects sordides, troubles, corrompus, violents de nos sociétés modernes. Des sociétés auxquelles Fausto Paravidino confère des inflexions de « divine comédie » contemporaine.
