Que le Cloître des Célestins avait été bousculé, en ce mois de juillet 2009, par la vingtaine de danseurs de Dave St-Pierre, dans le provocant mais furieusement drôle Un peu de tendresse bordel de merde ! Autant dire que le retour du chorégraphe québécois à Avignon est attendu, et celui-ci a réservé sa venue au Théâtre de l’Oulle en lui offrant la Première de Néant 360. Et ce trublion de la danse continue de nous emmener là où on ne l’attend pas : c’est au solo qu’il se confronte, accompagné d’un univers visuel et plastique jouant avec la lumière, les matières, la vidéo. Le corps du chorégraphe, au centre de ce néant qui le questionne dans sa vie d’homme, travaille l’inconfort du vide en revêtant les atours d’un monstre, d’un démon, d’un animal, à moins que cela ne soit ceux d’une personnalité d’aujourd’hui. Au final, un jeu avec les comportements, les codes, et la vacuité des existences.
