Festival Montpellier Danse / re-création d’une pièce de Dominique Bagouet
Necesito, sous-titré pièce pour Grenade, suggère une Espagne imaginaire, inspirée à Dominique Bagouet par une sorte de scène primitive de son enfance : le souvenir d’un danseur de flamenco aperçu sur les ramblas à Barcelone. Necesito, pièce pour Grenade, créée en 1991 et reprise en octobre 1992 à Montpellier, sera sa dernière pièce. Dans un décor au sol de marbre rose rappelant l’Alhambra, se promène un groupe de touristes loufoques, en short ou en robe d’été aux couleurs claires, à petits pas pressés. Cette œuvre, remontée par Rita Cioffi, avec l’aide des archives des Carnets Bagouet, et les interventions d’Olivia Grandville, Sylvain Prunenec et Fabrice Ramalingom, rend hommage au chorégraphe mort du sida il y a tout juste trente ans. Sa transmission aux jeunes danseurs de l’Ensemble chorégraphique du Conservatoire national supérieur de Paris est l’occasion de les confronter à une gestuelle très riche, qui emprunte à tous les styles de danse. Avec sa bande-son de chants arabo-andalous, mixés à la musique du groupe GasGasGas et de son guitariste Sven Lava Pohlhammer, la pièce traduit surtout une légèreté de ton, une liberté joyeuse.
