« La terre ferme n’offre plus aujourd’hui une véritable sécurité, elle représente plutôt un lieu de permanence temporaire, dans l’attente d’un nouveau voyage chargé de risques. » constatent Enrico Casagrande et Daniela Nicolò. C’est en fouillant au cœur de La Tempête de Shakespeare que les cofondateurs de Motus ont trouvé écho aux désordres du monde et matière à construire leur propre fiction. La compagnie italienne confronte à même son geste artistique les utopies aux mouvements sociaux contemporains tout en croisant recherche esthétique résolument ouverte et engagement politique allégé de tout didactisme. Dans Nella Tempesta, Motus explore le texte pour en extraire les questions de la liberté, du pouvoir, de la surveillance généralisée, de la faillite d’un système économique… « Le matériau accumulé sera ensuite « broyé » par les acteurs pour aboutir à un spectacle au sein duquel la communauté publique jouera un rôle actif et déterminant. Afin de fonder une sorte de INSTANT CITY ou pour mieux dire, de: INSTANT COMMUNITY ! » A vivre ensemble donc !
