Théâtre de La Manufacture/ de Mochélan/ mes Jean-Michel Van den Eeyden
« Dans mes textes, je cherche à mettre en avant un parcours, la traversée d’un individu, et surtout ses premières remises en question lorsqu’il se confronte à son environnement. Comment évoluer et tirer son épingle du jeu sans renier ses racines, grandir sans oublier d’où l’on vient ? ». Nés Poumons noir, le nouveau spectacle de l’artiste Mochélan, créé sur les scènes slam au début des années 2000, trouve son élan dans cette interrogation où la veine créatrice de l’auteur interprète, couronné à de multiples reprises, a toujours pris sa source. Regard empreint à la fois de tendresse et de mordant sur la ville de Charleroi qui l’a vu naître et grandir, cette nouvelle création s’enracine dans l’attachement au terreau Carolo. La présence scénique de l’artiste s’enrichit d’une narration vidéo articulée autour du parcours de ces jeunes de Charleroi qui refusent la résignation et la complaisance. La mise en scène signée du Directeur du Théâtre de l’Ancre à Charleroi, Jean-Michel Van den Eeyden, mêle habilement les moyens d’expression.
