Nikolaï Kolyada : une étoile filante dans le ciel du théâtre russe

Organisées afin d’enrichir la connaissance mutuelle de la Russie et de la France, les Années croisées France-Russie donneront, en 2010, l’opportunité à des artistes hexagonaux de présenter leur travail en Russie et à des artistes russes de faire de même en France. Le metteur en scène Nikolaï Kolyada sera l’un des premiers invités de ce programme bilatéral. Ainsi, de janvier à février, de nombreux théâtre franciliens accueilleront les versions d’Hamlet et du Revizor conçues par cet artiste singulier né en 1957, à Ekaterinbourg. Des versions baroques, poétiques, chamarrées, sauvages qui, avant de voyager jusqu’à nous, ont vu le jour dans le théâtre de poche que Nicolaï Kolyada dirige dans sa ville natale. Ce théâtre, qui a pour emblème une étoile filante, s’applique, selon les propres mots du metteur en scène, à « dire la beauté des poubelles ». Récupération, recyclage, trouvailles au détour d’un étal de marché : Nicolaï Kolyada donne corps à des représentations faites d’accessoires de pacotille, représentations qui s’attachent à débusquer la beauté derrière les salissures du monde et de l’humain. A la tête d’une troupe de 26 acteurs permanents, le metteur en scène (également auteur, pédagogue et comédien) s’inscrit dans une vision intense et enflammée du théâtre, une vision aux impulsions débridées.
