Chloé et Mélissa cultivent l’art de l’agrès, comme on cultive l’art de la lenteur. Que ce soit sur un simple trapèze suspendu dans les airs (Nimbus), dans la recherche et l’attente d’un équilibre sur une assise précaire, ou dans la quête impossible de l’image de soi, leur démarche reste singulière. Dans Miroir, miroir, créé au dernier Festival d’Avignon dans le cadre du Sujet à Vif, Mélissa Von Vepy créé la surprise. Accompagnée au piano, elle arrive sur scène en hauts talons, sûre d’elle. Mais, confrontée à un grand miroir suspendu au dessus d’elle, son personnage va connaître une évolution passionnante face au reflet qui lui est renvoyé. Elle y grimpe, se regarde, et s’y engouffre. Happée par l’objet, dans un corps à corps avec la matière coupante, elle offre la vision d’un enchevêtrement très surprenant.
