« Chez nous c’est pas la place qui manque… » Deux frères, la quarantaine, – Charles, coiffeur, et Sébastien, qui travaille à l’usine -, se sont assoupis dans un quotidien bien réglé et dans le souvenir de leur maman qui a quitté ce monde. Toute jeune, Nina, la petite amie de Charles, s’installe et bouscule le cours de leur vie et l’équilibre de leur relation. A partir d’une telle situation, Michel Vinaver, l’un de nos plus grands dramaturges contemporains, orchestre la partition textuelle comme un jeu de frictions à la fois subtil et percutant qui entrechoque des éléments disparates. « Il parvient à provoquer ce qu’il appelle des petites décharges électriques suscitant de l’étonnement, de l’ironie, de l’humour, de la connaissance », souligne le metteur en scène Florent Siaud, qui s’attache à restituer « la dynamique euphorisante et parfois humoristique de cette écriture ». Avec Eugénie Anselin, Renaud Lacelle-Bourdon et Eric Bernier, et un duo d’instrumentistes de tango.
