A l’heure où l’on rappelle, dans le débat social et politique, combien les inégalités perdurent entre les hommes et les femmes, il n’est sans doute pas inutile de se demander quelle est la place des femmes dans l’art. Et, tout particulièrement, dans la danse : où en sont les femmes dans cette expression qui, depuis le XIXe siècle, est considérée comme prioritairement féminine ? C’est la question que pose le Théâtre Louis-Aragon le 27 novembre lors d’une Nocturne, c’est-à-dire une soirée composée de plusieurs événements et de plusieurs façons de goûter la danse.
Swing, hip-hop et classique
On découvrira ainsi Bitter sugar (sucre amer), de Raphaëlle Delaunay. Pour cette pièce, elle est allée explorer les danses swing des années 1920-30 : avec l’univers du jazz et la (re)découverte des danses sociales de cette époque (fox-trot, lindy hop…), c’est aussi l’histoire de la communauté afro-américaine et de ses luttes qui surgit. L’idée de lutte et d’affirmation de soi traverse aussi Florès, par la compagnie Membros : la chorégraphe Taís Vieira réunit des hip-hopeuses brésiliennes et françaises et donne à voir une identité féminine toute en dynamisme.
Mais cette Nocturne sera aussi l’occasion de plonger dans un imaginaire féminin particulièrement prégnant dans le monde chorégraphique, à savoir la figure de la danseuse telle qu’elle a été construite dans l’univers du ballet, depuis le romantisme : pour l’occasion, des danseurs de l’Opéra de Paris sont également invités…
