Concert d’un homme décousu : Seydou Boro, bien connu pour ses chorégraphies au sein de la compagnie Salia nï Seydou, se remet en scène en solo – tout en invitant cinq musiciens à l’accompagner. « Chaque instrument correspond à un aspect de la personnalité humaine », explique-t-il : la guitare basse serait la solidité qui nous rassure ; la guitare solo serait plus fuyante, « comme une personne qui s’efface quand vous avez des ennuis » ; le tamani (tambour d’aisselle) représente le doute ; la calebasse « l’exigence qui nous porte et nous aide à garder le cap », tandis que la voix « est le sujet lui-même, la personne qui s’exprime en son propre nom, et qui doit assumer sa vie seule »…
Regard percutant
La soirée se poursuivra avec une performance de 20 minutes dans l’espace urbain : la compagnie hip hop Membros livre avec Meio Fio (« Le rebord du trottoir », le lieu des enfants des rues) un regard percutant sur les inégalités sociales dans les grandes métropoles. Enfin, Alban Richard travaille sur l’étreinte et nous invite avec Lacis (live) à une exploration troublante du duo masculin. Le principe de la Nocturne réside dans le fait que les spectacles programmés sont aussi l’occasion d’échanges et de nouvelles découvertes sur la danse. La soirée commencera donc dès 17H30, pour une rencontre avec Paulo Azevedo et la compagnie Membros : ils évoqueront le projet du Centre Intégré des Études du Mouvement Hip Hop (CIEMH2), une ONG au service des jeunes de Macaé (Brésil), créée en 2005 par les deux directeurs artistiques de Membros.
