Théâtre Louis-Aragon / Chor. Alban Richard et Nathalie Béasse
Cette Nocturne a été baptisée « Travelling Danse »… Et pour cause : à leur façon, les deux chorégraphes qui se partagent la soirée interrogent, sur un mode proche du cinématographique, la façon dont la danse peut devenir narration. La soirée commencera avec Wonderful World, de Nathalie Béasse, une pièce née au Life à Saint-Nazaire, ce lieu culturel installé dans une ancienne base sous-marine : « J’y ai imaginé un homme qui venait de loin en courant pour nous annoncer quelque chose, raconte Nathalie Béasse. Je suis très sensible aux espaces. J’écoute beaucoup « parler » les lieux, les architectures. Notre travail a commencé par des courses dans des couloirs… » Des courses qui parlent d’urgence, mais aussi d’empêchement : le parcours est semé d’embûches, et interroge la capacité de chacun à réagir face aux obstacles.
Un « poème d’actions »
La soirée se poursuivra avec la pièce, récemment créée, d’Alban Richard, Boire les longs oublis. Il s’y inspire du tableau L’île des morts, d’Arnold Böcklin. Entre danse, musique (reprise de l’œuvre composée par Serge Rachmaninov à partir du même tableau, et création de Laurent Perrier, fidèle complice du chorégraphe) et texte (celui de Valérie Sigward, écrivain et créatrice lumières), les quatre danseurs inventent, à partir d’un même cœur, une multitude de narrations possibles.
