« Un jour, on se lève. On a vingt ans. On en a cinquante ou soixante-dix, peu importe. On décide ce jour-là d’aller en rejoindre d’autres. Ceux qui s’assemblent. On devient l’un des leurs. Une heure. Ou trente ans. Cela fera de soi un sympathisant. Voire un opposant. Certains diront : un résistant. Projet d’aéroport, usines à vaches ou à porcs, enfouissements de déchets hautement radioactifs… Ce texte rend hommage aux femmes et hommes qui s’engagent dans ces combats. » dit Catherine Zambon à propos de la pièce qu’elle a confiée à la troupe dirigée par François Fehner.

Il ne s’agit pas d’accuser mais plutôt de raconter « les émois, les doutes et les faiblesses au moment de l’engagement », dit le metteur en scène. Que fait-on du chagrin qui submerge, de l’indignation qui met en branle ou de la colère qui réveille ? Témoignages, parties chorales, dialogues drolatiques : la parole se fait manifeste en un banquet éphémère où la joie renaît d’être partagée. En cela, le texte de Catherine Zambon permet à l’Agit de réaffirmer son identité : celle d’un théâtre de terrain et d’interaction, soucieux du commun et de ceux qui le défendent.
