Les frères Nhat Ly et Lan Nguyen ont été formés à l’Ecole du Cirque National de Hanoï. Après avoir longtemps travaillé en France (cirque Plume, école de cirque de Chambéry…), ils se sont retrouvés avec le jongleur Tuan Lé pour monter cette production très en marge des créations actuelles venues du Vietnam. Ici, l’idée du « cirque contemporain » vient essentiellement de la construction du spectacle, qui brise le cycle des numéros habituels pour emporter les spectateurs dans un univers à part, au cœur d’un village traditionnel. Au-delà des arts du cirque, la danse et la musique restent très présentes, comme elles le sont dans la tradition culturelle vietnamienne. Le spectacle retrace les moments de vie quotidienne et rituelle d’un village avec vingt jeunes artistes acrobates, musiciens, jongleurs, porteurs, équilibristes, contorsionnistes… à découvrir comme à travers la fenêtre ouverte vers une culture d’arts et de traditions.
