Trois heures de musique presque non-stop sont au programme de cette nuit qui amène à se croiser deux valeurs sûres du piano français – Anne Queffélec et Philippe Bianconi -, et une jeune artiste française prometteuse. Née en 1983, Marie Vermeulin a été formée au CNSMD de Lyon avant de bénéficier de l’enseignement rapproché pendant quatre ans de Lazar Berman puis de Roger Muraro. En mai 2006, elle remporte le deuxième prix du concours Maria Canals de Barcelone. C’est avec un programme couvrant toute la période du XXè siècle qu’elle inaugure cette soirée dans des œuvres de Debussy, Messiaen, Berio et Stravinsky. Après elle, Philippe Bianconi plongera dans les tourments romantiques de Schumann, Chopin et Liszt, avant de céder la place au jeu simple et lumineux d’Anne Queffélec dans Haendel, Mozart, Bach/Busoni et Beethoven. Une soirée de piano de haut niveau, parfaitement équilibrée.
