ALPES DE HAUTE-PROVENCE / FESTIVAL / MUSIQUE, THEATRE, DANSE
Lors de sa création, en 1928, le Festival était placé sous le signe du théâtre. Les Nuits de la citadelle de Sisteron n’ont pas oublié cette vocation première en programmant le 6 août une adaptation de La Légende d’une vie, une pièce méconnue de Stefan Zweig qui traite de la difficulté d’être et de créer pour un fils écrasé par son père. La mise en scène de Christophe Lidon affiche une affiche de prestige avec Natalie Dessay et Macha Méril (6 août). Parmi les propositions musicales, on note la présence de jeunes voix, celles de Ludivine Gombert et d’Ambroisine Bré, qui ouvrent le festival avec des airs d’opera buffa, ou celle de Catherine Trottmann dans un répertoire célébrant Mozart et Haendel. Au piano, Nicholas Angelich sera présent avec l’Orchestre Symphonique Ose qui jouera la Symphonie fantastique de Berlioz pour le 150e anniversaire de sa mort, tandis qu’à la clarinette, Raphaël Sévère interprètera le Quatuor pour la fin du temps de Messiaen avec le Trio Wanderer. La danse ne sera pas en reste avec une chorégraphie de Benjamin Millepied, Envoûtante Eurydice, et une proposition de Mourad Merzouki, Boxe Boxe Brazil, avec le Quatuor Debussy.
