Théâtre du Rond-Point puis tournée / De Rémi De Vos / mes Dag Jeanneret
« La pesanteur et la grâce, l’amour devenu fou, la drôlerie cruelle, l’envie d’en finir », dit Rémi De Vos à propos du face-à-face qu’il a écrit et que Dag Jeanneret, selon lui, a su rendre avec une impeccable acuité et un remarquable sens du texte et de ses enjeux. Stéphanie Marc et Christian Mazzuchini incarnent un couple « monstrueux et comique », ses espoirs enfouis et ses désespoirs terrifiés, sa misère quotidienne et l’extrémisme terrifiant dans lequel l’homme s’enfonce peu à peu. Bataille morbide entre deux êtres perdus, retranchés des us de la bienséance, sans complexes ni retenue, la pièce est une formidable partition, occasion pour ses interprètes d’une plongée dans les eaux troubles de la lutte à mort à laquelle les accule le vertige de la parole haineuse. « Bruts, atroces et pitoyables », les deux protagonistes combattent dans l’espace mental de leur détestation, dans l’ordinaire nauséeux de la tentation du pire.
