CHŒUR / COMPIÈGNE, EGLISE SAINT-ROCH ET MASSY
Francis Poulenc (1899-1963) représente à lui seul une certaine idée de la musique vocale française. Michel Piquemal revient régulièrement à ses Litanies à la Vierge noire et au Gloria, à la tête du Chœur régional Vittoria d’Île-de-France. Les deux oeuvres, ainsi que le Concerto pour orgue avec Mathias Lecomte, fidèle partenaire du chœur auquel se joint ici l’Orchestre Pasdeloup, forment un programme entièrement dédié au compositeur des Dialogues des Carmélites. De son côté, le jeune ensemble vocal Aedes interprète à Compiègne deux partitions un peu plus rares : la Messe en sol et les Quatre Motets pour un temps de pénitence qui viennent clore juste avant guerre la série de pièces sacrées entamée avec les Litanies en 1937. En regard, le directeur artistique Mathieu Romano a placé la Messe pour double chœur de Frank Martin (1890-1974) mais aussi les Deux psaumes de Philippe Fénelon (né en 1952).
