« Ce spectacle porte trois voix. Celle de Patrick Declerck (anthropologue, psychanalyste, romancier) qui a exercé comme consultant au centre d’accueil et de soins hospitaliers de Nanterre. Dans son livre Les Naufragés, il raconte ses nombreuses consultations, mais aussi sa célèbre plongée dans le bus de ramassage déguisé en clochard. Témoignage rare, précieux et vivant. Celle des SDF (…). Et enfin, la nôtre, artistes-citoyens, qui nous demandons en toute humilité comment changer les choses. Que l’on ne s’y trompe pas. La souffrance des pauvres et des fous est organisée, mise en scène, nécessaire. L’ordre social est à ce prix. », dit Guillaume Barbot.
Un spectacle coup de poing
Le metteur en scène avoue avoir découvert le témoignage de Declerck comme « un coup de poing, ou coup de flingue » : son écriture au vitriol, sans concession ni angélisme, brutale – si tant est que la situation qu’elle décrit ne force pas à l’être – incisive et lucide, est une langue pour acteur. Jean-Christophe Quenon s’en empare, passant en virtuose d’un énonciateur à l’autre. « C’est à travers lui que nous entrons dans cette étrange famille des SDF : dans sa complexité, ses fureurs, ses fragilités, ses impasses, ses urgences. Bien plus qu’un documentaire pour se rendre compte que lui, nous, les SDF, parlons d’une même voix ».
