Théâtre Buffon / d’après Aristophane / mes David Legras
Succès mérité du Off 2014, « On marche sur la tête ! » revient à Avignon. David Legras a composé une comédie enlevée, insolente et gaillarde à partir de trois des comédies d’Aristophane, où les petits se vengent de la morgue des grands et de l’exploitation qu’ils leur font subir. Le héros de la fable, honnête Athénien révolté par l’injustice faite aux gens de bien qui trinquent pendant que les puissants bambochent, monte jusque chez Zeus sur son bousier, afin d’exiger que la « merdoyance » dans laquelle vivent les mortels soient enfin nettoyée. S’ensuivent ses démêlés avec Ploutos, la richesse mal avisée de toujours brimer les vertueux, et la Dèche, qui prétend être indispensable aux humains. Denis Barré, Walter Hotton, David Legras et Laurent Richard s’en donnent à cœur joie, entre Monty Python’s circus maximus et Tontons flingueurs en spartiates. Drôle et joyeux, ce spectacle suggère aussi une savoureuse critique de la société contemporaine, preuve de l’éternité des Anciens !
