Depuis, celui qui a sans cesse forcé les portes pour s’échapper des clichés banlieusards et s’imposer dans la danse, se bat aussi avec les mots. « Dans les années 1980, on dansait dans la colère et puis on a été domestiqué, constate-t-il aujourd’hui. On est en train de devenir des bêtes de foire. » Avec On n’oublie pas, son dernier opus, il donne donc la parole à ses interprètes, compagnons de création présents dans Sekel en 2004. Histoire de bousculer encore les discours préenregistrés et de montrer que les danseurs hip-hop sont autant d’individualités différentes… Questionnement sur l’identité et la transmission, cette pièce pousse le corps dans ses retranchements, libérant l’énergie à l’assaut des censures, jusqu’à épuisement des feintes pour atteindre la vérité des êtres. Là où, l’identité ose enfin se dévoiler. Se révéler.
