Après la lecture dans le journal du rapport sur l’"Onanisme avec troubles nerveux chez deux petites fille" (1882), révélé grâce à une publication critique menée par l’antipsychiatrie des années 70, Jean-Michel Rabeux avoue avoir éprouvé de la haine envers la tranquillité clinique du Docteur Zambaco. En effet, l’auteur de ce brûlot de violence fait le compte-rendu de ses "soins" spécifiques destinés à juguler le "vice" de l’onanisme féminin, considéré par la médecine européenne du dix-neuvième siècle comme une maladie extrêmement dangereuse. Ayant assuré la thérapie de deux petites filles que des parents lui avaient confiées, Zambaco expose frontalement tous les moyens coercitifs imaginés susceptibles de soumettre cette vitalité enfantine. Voilà l’horreur et la cruauté défendues au nom d’une bêtise individuelle, d’une peur sociale et d’une morale publique privée d’invention et de liberté. Avec la belle présence de Claude Degliame, Rabeux jette à nouveau sur la scène cette colère ressentie par le passé et d’autant plus tenace aujourd’hui que les morales sont clean et prétendument au-dessus de tout soupçon. L’art subversif de Rabeux/Degliame dénonce l’arrogance de nos certitudes, qu’elles soient scientifiques, morales, religieuses, mentales, civiques, économiques, écologiques, médicales. Un travail de titan qui ne déclare pas forfait.
