Opéra de Vichy : une saison en été

Très polyvalente puisqu’elle couvre les domaines du théâtre, de la danse et de la chanson, la saison d’été de l’Opéra de Vichy réserve de beaux moments lyriques, avec Carmen en ouverture (7 et 8 juin) sous la direction de Cyril Diederich, puis dans le cadre des 5e Rencontres lyriques européennes. Deux opéras de Gian Carlo Menotti – son plus célèbre, Le Téléphone, et Amelia al Ballo – sont donnés dans la production réalisée par Éric Vigié pour son Opéra de Lausanne sous la direction d’Arie van Beek (13 septembre). Autre reprise, celle de Norma dans la mise en scène de Charles Roubaud acclamée en 1999 aux Chorégies d’Orange, avec la jeune Cristina Piperno dans le rôle-titre (27 septembre). Nouvelle production de ces rencontres, co-produite par dix-huit théâtres, Le Voyage à Reims de Rossini (11 octobre) sera mis en scène par Nicola Berloffa, assistant notamment de Luca Ronconi. Un récital d’Aldo Ciccolini (10 juillet) et des concerts-déjeuners (le Fine Arts Quartet, le pianiste Andreï Korobeïnikov, ainsi que les jeunes artistes révélations de l’Adami) complètent cette riche programmation.
