Des disques 33 tours, le bel héritage fait passer l’objet en vinyle au rang d’accessoire majeur, aux côtés de marionnettes dévolues à l’art lyrique et au chant d’opéra. C’est le défi du metteur en scène François Parmentier et de son comédien manipulateur Pascal Vergnault. Grâce à une scénographie d’opéra classique miniaturisée, l’intrigue sentimentale (une romance avec orchestre, diva, pianiste et figaro) met en place son histoire d’amour printanier, une histoire de jolies voix qui s’échappent et se brisent, et de mots qui se perdent. Avec Le Barbier de Séville de Rossini, La Traviatade Verdi, Les Noces de Figaro de Mozart, et King Arthur de Purcell, les jeunes enfants sont pris au sérieux. Pascal Vergnault tient le rôle de DJ marionnettiste, orchestrant sur ses platines les chanteurs, les machinistes, les éclairagistes et les personnages de fiction. Un monde cocasse, entre projections d’ombres et vagues de musique divine.
