Imaginez Actéon, l’opéra baroque de Marc-Antoine Charpentier, donné dans une version de théâtre nô, l’un des arts traditionnels majeurs du Japon. C’est le pari réalisé par le metteur en scène Shugo Ikoh, qui réunit avec Opera@Théâtre nô, acteurs de théâtre, chanteurs d’opéra et instrumentistes baroques. Le théâtre nô a notamment pour spécificité de mêler différentes formes artistique : théâtre, musique et danse. Autre caractéristique, sa dimension intime puisque seul un nombre restreint de personnages a droit de cité. Parmi eux, celui de la femme courroucée. Des critères auxquels correspond particulièrement Actéon de Charpentier, un opéra qui met en scène la colère de Diane, surprise nue par le chasseur Actéon. Pour le punir, elle le transforme en cerf. A cette adaptation s’ajoute Livietta e Tracollo de Pergolèse, une partition qui joue le rôle d’un intermède rappelant le kyogen, pièce comique traditionnelle présentée entre deux pièces de théâtre nô. Dépaysement garanti.
