Création / par le trio A.Storni
En janvier 2020, le trio A.Storni, du nom de la poétesse argentine Alfonsina Storni, retrouvait l’esprit des schubertiades, ces moments de partages musicaux entre amis qu’affectionnait Franz Schubert. Pour cette nouvelle édition de Bruit, l’ensemble s’intéresse à un autre compositeur : Maurice Ravel, mais le même esprit souffle sur ce concert qui tente de restituer l’univers du compositeur à travers une de ses partitions majeures. La violoniste Marie Salvat, la pianiste Sarah Margaine et le violoncelliste Alexis Derouin ont en effet choisi comme clef de voûte de leur programme son célèbre Trio, considéré par le philosophe et musicologue Vladimir Jankélévitch comme « un chef-d’œuvre de rayonnante maturité ».
Moments de partage
Dans cette partition de 1914, commencée avant la déclaration de guerre et achevée juste après, Maurice Ravel mêle à la tradition (la forme sonate ou la passacaille) ses touches personnelles comme des rythmes basques ou la forme du pantoum, un genre poétique malais. Quelle meilleure porte d’entrée pour mieux cerner ses influences, son goût pour les rythmes complexes et les couleurs jazzy, ou ses sombres pressentiments sur la Première Guerre mondiale ? Aux côtés de cette œuvre, le trio A.Storni interprétera également des pièces de Ravel ou de ses contemporains et réservera quelques surprises…
