INVALIDES / MUSIQUE BAROQUE
On ne présente plus Ophélie Gaillard, violoncelliste et cheffe de l’ensemble Pulcinella. Le premier de ses deux programmes de printemps à l’affiche de la saison des Invalides, intitulé « Viva Venezia ! », se souvient que Vivaldi, le maestro al violino, offrit au violoncelle, avec son contemporain napolitain Nicola Porpora, quelques-unes de ses premières pages les plus ambitieuses voire révolutionnaires. Le programme est conçu comme un florilège de concertos (pour deux violoncelles, pour violoncelle et basson, pour violoncelle seul, pour deux violons et violoncelle…) de ces deux prodigieux inventeurs et novateurs. A l’évocation des premiers chefs-d’œuvre voués au violoncelle, comment ne pas aussi évoquer Bach, lui qui allait, au même moment, graver dans le marbre de la grande Histoire musicale ses géniales suites pour violoncelle seul… Mais c’est un autre Bach que retient Ophélie Gaillard pour son deuxième concert à la cathédrale Saint-Louis à l’occasion du Mercredi Saint, celui de trois de ses magnifiques cantates : « Bleib bei uns, denn es will Abend warden » BWV 6 ; « Mache dich, mein Geist, bereit » BWV 115 ; et « Sie werden euch in den Bann tun », BWV 183. Avec le chœur Marguerite Louise, l’organiste Gaëtan Jarry et les instrumentistes de Pulcinella.
