Richard Wagner, Toto Cutugno, Giuseppe Verdi, Michael Jackson… L’affiche ne manque pas de gueule. La troupe d’Acide Lyrique non plus ! Entre une « mezzo-soprano maniaco-dramatique », un « ténor schizo-pavarotique legeto-goldmanien », un « baryton tontaino-brésilien, tontaino-californien » et le « pianiste claydermaniaque rubinsteinien », l’ambiance est forcément lyrique. Bigrement déjantés, loufoques en diable et savamment décalés, les trois chanteurs-chercheurs et leur pianiste sautent du bel canto au chant grégorien, enjambent au passage quelques chansons paillardes ou pirouettent sur un air d’opéra. Et puis ripent sur les noms et dérapent sur les titres, enchaînant gags et contrepèteries, travestissements et clowneries. De « La Chevauchée de Vache qui rit » à « L’Anneau du Babibelungen », des « Trompettes d’Aïda » à « Carmina Burana », ces mélomanes facétieux autant qu’incorrigibles gaffeurs massacrent tous les genres musicaux mais chantent de tout cœur.
