Enfant des fondateurs de la Cie Rasposo, Marie Molliens grandit en même temps que le nouveau cirque. Elle en épouse les recherches, et y impose sa manière personnelle d’« offrir aux spectateurs la possibilité de percevoir les subtiles nuances de l’expression, la capacité de raffinement, les complexités du réel ». À la tête de la compagnie parentale depuis 2012, l’auteure, fildefériste et voltigeuse développe en effet un cirque-théâtre qui vise à susciter l’émotion autant que la réflexion. Par le corps et l’agrès, en puisant toujours aux origines ancestrales des arts de la piste, l’artiste joue avec l’irréversible pour mettre en scène nos instincts les plus secrets, les plus refoulés.
Prière pour la liberté
En s’émancipant des codes de sa discipline tout en leur rendant hommage, c’est un chemin vers l’intensité et la liberté que nous offre Marie Molliens dans Oraison. Dernier volet de sa Trilogie des Ors, cette pièce pose de nouveau la question laissée sans réponse dans Morsure et La DévOrée : « Combattre à tout prix ou se laisser atteindre ? ». Avec ses acolytes Robin Auneau, Zaza Kuik alias « Missy Messy » et Françoise Pierret, elle convoque pour y répondre la figure du clown blanc. Sous un petit chapiteau aux airs démodés, les créatures provoquent la mort en un rituel d’appel à la vie.
