ORCHESTRE SYMPHONIQUE / SALLE GAVEAU
Si les plus actifs, performants et estimés orchestres symphoniques du monde ont tous vu le jour à la fin du XIXè siècle (Amsterdam, Vienne, Berlin, New York, Chicago, Boston, etc), la vie symphonique parisienne s’est elle développée de toute autre manière, car ses formations historiques ont été effacées de sa carte musicale, par volonté politique, ou bridées par un soutien financier modeste. L’Orchestre Colonne, fondé en 1873 par le violoniste et chef d’orchestre Édouard Colonne pour faire connaître à un large public les compositeurs français, est aujourd’hui probablement le plus actif de ces survivants. Par la volonté de son directeur musical Laurent Petitgirard, lui-même compositeur, la musique contemporaine, associée à des programmes symphoniques traditionnels de répertoire, reste une de ses priorités. Le prochain programme de la phalange parisienne, dirigé par le berlinois Stefan Malzew, le confirme avec, en ouverture, Le Pavillon d’or pour koto et orchestre de Philippe Chamouard (né en 1952), associé au Concerto pour violon n° 5 de Mozart et à la Symphonie n° 5 de Schubert. Avec en solistes Mieko Miyazaki (koto) et Solenne Paidassi (violon), jeune niçoise ayant remporté en 2010 le Concours Long-Thibaud à Paris.
