SYMPHONIQUE / DIJON ET PHILHARMONIE
En quatre décennies, l’Orchestre français des jeunes est devenu un acteur central de la formation des jeunes musiciens, véritable tremplin vers les rangs des orchestres professionnels. Il s’est aussi imposé comme une formation symphonique de haut niveau artistique, portée par l’enthousiasme des professeurs et des directeurs musicaux successifs (dont Marek Janowski, Jésus Lopez Cobos, Emmanuel Krivine, Dennis Russell Davies ou David Zinman). Travaillant comme des professionnels, les musiciens, étudiants en conservatoire (CRR, CNSM ou équivalents européens), se réunissent pour une longue session d’été et se retrouvent en décembre à l’Opéra de Dijon autour d’un programme resserré qu’il faut répéter et maîtriser en quelques jours.
Rencontre avec les solistes
Au programme, le grand répertoire – avec la Quatrième Symphonie de Tchaïkovski – mais aussi une rareté : la suite du ballet Callirhoë (1888) de la prolifique mais aujourd’hui bien oubliée Cécile Chaminade (1857-1944). C’est aussi l’occasion de travailler auprès de solistes. Les musiciens retrouvent Alexandre Tharaud dans le Concerto en sol de Ravel (à Paris) et rencontrent Astrig Siranossian (à Dijon) pour le Concerto pour violoncelle n° 1 de Saint-Saëns.
