PIANO ET ORCHESTRE / TOURNEE FRANCILIENNE
Le bouillonnant chef de l’orchestre francilien repart sur les routes de sa région d’adoption pour défendre un programme 100 % russe, dont on retiendra avant tout le bonheur rare d’entendre l’une des premières symphonies de Tchaikovski. La Symphonie n°2 en ut mineur, composée en 1872, est l’œuvre d’un jeune trentenaire largement inspiré par les musiques folkloriques ukrainiennes et les paysages des rives de la Volga. Ses premières notes furent composées en Ukraine, région alors surnommée « Petite Russie », et titre de la symphonie. Si la partition n’atteint pas les sommets d’intensité musicale et émotionnelle des trois dernières des six symphonies du compositeur russe, la « Deuxième » irradie de musiques, d’images et de mélodies populaires pleines de charme. Au même programme, le très célèbre Concerto pour piano n°2 en ut mineur op.18 de Rachmaninov, servi par deux pianistes français en alternance, le magnifique Jean-Efflam Bavouzet et Rémi Geniet (né en 1993), mais aussi, en ouverture de concert, une création de la jeune compositrice britannique Anna Clyne, artiste associée à l’Orchestre National d’Île-de-France.
