SALLE GAVEAU ET TOURNEE ILE-DE-FRANCE / BANDONEON ET ORCHESTRE
La musique de l’argentin Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992), disciple de Nadia Boulanger et Alberto Ginastera, grande voix de la musique américaine du XXème siècle, est par bonheur de plus en plus présente à l’affiche des concerts classiques. Son Concerto « Aconcagua » pour bandonéon, cordes, harpe et percussions est, à l’image du pic montagneux qu’il désigne, point culminant du continent sud-américain à la frontière argentine avec le Chili, l’un des sommets de son œuvre. Composé en 1979, dans une forme très classique en 3 mouvements rapide-lent-rapide, l’œuvre est une pure merveille que Richard Galliano a souvent défendue sur les scènes françaises. C’est une autre grande voix du bandonéon, le norvégien Per Arne Glorvigen, proche de Gidon Kremer avec lequel il a beaucoup enregistré (dont le sublime album « Hommage à Piazzolla » chez Nonesuch Classique), qui en révélera ici toutes les beautés – la mélancolie autant que les fulgurances rythmiques, puisées aux sources pures de la musique argentine que sont la milonga et le tango… Il sera associé au chef viennois Christian Arming, par ailleurs directeur musical de l’Orchestre philharmonique royal de Liège, qui dirigera au même programme l’Ouverture des Noces de Figaro de Mozart et la Septième symphonie de Beethoven. Un cocktail revigorant, une fête des rythmes.
