Non, vous ne rêvez pas ! C’est bien le même Kamel Ouali, celui qui donna les cours de danse à la Star Ac’ et qui réalisa les chorégraphies des comédies musicales Les Dix commandements ou Cléopâtre, qui va mettre en scène Orlando Paladino de Haydn. Le directeur du Théâtre du Châtelet, Jean-Luc Chopin, crée une fois de plus le « buzz » avec cette nouvelle production, d’autant que l’ouvrage de Haydn, dont le livret s’inspire du Roland Furieux de l’Arioste, reste méconnu du grand public. L’autre personnalité attendue du spectacle, c’est bien sûr le chef d’orchestre Jean-Christophe Spinosi. A la tête de son ensemble Matheus, il s’apprête à revisiter la partition avec son énergie. Quant au casting vocal, il fait la part belle aux jeunes chanteurs : Ekaterina Bakanova, Joan Martin-Royo… dont la souplesse sera mise à rude épreuve par les chorégraphies du spectacle.
