La Scène Watteau / L’Onde / d’après Les Nuits de la pleine Lune et Le Rayon vert d’Eric Rohmer / mes Thomas Quillardet
Le désir est au cœur des deux films dont Thomas Quillardet a choisi de monter l’adaptation théâtrale à la suite. Une femme, « forte et sensible », est au centre des deux histoires que narre « l’écriture simple et précise de Rohmer » : « l’une (Marie Rémond) est seule et cherche son idéal amoureux, l’autre (Anne-Laure Tondu) cherche le sien en dehors de son couple ». Derrière l’apparente banalité de ces contes où il est question d’appartement à rénover et de vacances à occuper, se pose la question du rapport à l’autre et de la manière d’envisager la vie avec lui. Louise et Delphine sont prises « dans les mailles du filet de nos solitudes : la question que pose notre projet c’est la manière dont les êtres vivent cette solitude », dit Thomas Quillardet, qui choisit Rohmer comme guide existentiel et métaphysique en dépassant le simple traitement psychologique de ses personnages.
