Il s’agit d’une suite de témoignages. Les témoignages de femmes et d’hommes déclarant avoir été en présence d’êtres venus d’une autre planète. C’est le projet théâtral auquel nous convie Olivier Maurin avec OVNI, projet qui cherche à mettre en lumière ce qui se passe « dans un être lorsque se présente à lui, et de façon indéniable, un évènement aussi puissant qu’une rencontre extraterrestre, évènement pour lequel il n’était pas prévenu, pour lequel il n’avait ni attente, ni espace mental pour l’accueillir ». Parfois avec gravité et responsabilité, parfois avec humour, la pièce d’Ivan Viripaev « prend et reprend des motifs, les tisse ensemble, joue des répétitions d’images et de sensations comme dans une suggestion hypnotique. » Ceci, en mettant en perspective la réalité des témoignages qui nous sont adressés, en interrogeant « la place de la fiction, du théâtre, du doute, du grand jeu des illusions ».
