Les grincheux se diront sans doute : encore une intégrale des symphonies de Beethoven ! Il y a pourtant à parier que de nombreux mélomanes risquent de redécouvrir ces chefs-d’œuvre du répertoire orchestral. Nous avons eu la chance d’entendre, au Festival de Salzbourg, Paavo Järvi diriger la Philharmonie de chambre allemande de Brême. Impossible de ne pas être galvanisé par cette direction magnétique, qui offre une synthèse fascinante des acquis de la tradition symphonique et des apports de la révolution baroque. Et comment ne pas tomber sous le charme de ce jeune orchestre de chambre à l’énergie contagieuse ? Les symphonies de Beethoven ressortent métamorphosées de cette interprétation, révolutionnaire en ce qui concerne les dynamiques, l’articulation et le phrasé. Un seul conseil : prenez un abonnement pour l’intégralité des concerts ou rabattez-vous sur les premiers volumes déjà enregistrés (RCA) !
